Cancellation/Refund Policy
Climbing Cancellation Policy
Pico Me Up reserves the right to cancel activities, due to safety, climatic or other reasons of force majeure, always in order to guarantee the quality of the activity and the safety of the participants. In this situation, we can suggest an alternative day, alternative activity, or the amount paid will be returned to the customer by 95%.
Cancellations made less than a week in advance and up to 4 days before, or due to flight or boat problems, 100% of the activity value will be refunded. If the participant does not attend (no-show), 100% of the activity value will be charged — there will be no refund.
If the climb is not possible because the participant does not have the personal equipment necessary for the weather conditions of the date (waterproof jacket, warm jacket or boots), 50% of the activity will be refunded.
If the participant is climbing at an extremely slow pace, the climb may be cancelled by the Mountain Guide resulting in no refund — or we can propose to call a second guide to help guide you to the top of Pico, resulting in a fee of 150–200 euros, to be paid solely by the climber.

A Pico Me Up reserva-se o direito de cancelar atividades por motivos de segurança, climáticos ou outros de força maior, sempre de forma a garantir a qualidade da atividade e a segurança dos participantes. Nesta situação, podemos sugerir um dia alternativo, atividade alternativa ou o valor pago será devolvido ao cliente em 95%.
Os cancelamentos feitos com menos de uma semana de antecedência e até 4 dias antes, ou devido a problemas de voos ou barcos, serão reembolsados em 100% do valor da atividade. Em caso de não comparência (no-show), será cobrado 100% do valor da atividade.
Se a escalada não for possível por o participante não dispor do equipamento pessoal necessário às condições climáticas (casaco impermeável, casaco quente ou botas), será reembolsado 50% do valor da atividade.
Island Tour Refund Policy
Last-Minute Booking Policy
Bookings made less than 12 hours before the scheduled tour departure are accepted on a best-effort basis. While guests will receive the full island tour experience, certain premium inclusions — such as exclusive wine tastings, private cellar visits, or other pre-arranged experiences — may not be available due to the limited time available to coordinate these activities with our partners.
By confirming a booking within 12 hours of the tour start time, guests acknowledge and accept that some advertised experiences may be unavailable. In such cases, no partial or full refunds will be issued, as the tour itself will still operate and alternative stops or experiences may be provided where possible.
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to guarantee access to all tour inclusions and premium experiences.
