Meet Manuel

Meet Manuel Goulart who was born and raised in the island of Pico, amongst its 8 other islands of Azores. Manuel’s first date with Mount Pico was at the age of 11. Locals have know him for always being "outdoor" naming him, The Adventurer Boy. This boy has been climbing the mountain since. He was Grandfather and Father who’ve also been climbing the majestic mountain for along time.Today Manuel lives the dream of doing what he truly likes. He says that "one of the best things about being a Mountain Guide is being able to meet fantastic people from all over the world, the Mountain is my office! "
